Kids' Arts and Casa Pacifica
Kids' Arts has offered weekly visual and literary arts workshops at Casa Pacifica Residential Center for the past eight years. Students have participated in on-campus art shows and have created their own anthology of creative writing and poetry. When youth leave Casa Pacifica they find Kids' Arts a great way to stay connected with the arts and each other!
Kids' Arts Bilingual Family Workshops Currently, Kids' Arts programs are offered at Sheridan Way School as a project of Ventura County Superintendent of Schools//Neighborhoods for Learning. This bilingual program includes mothers and fathers and their children, ages three to five. It gives families opportunities for creative expression, communication, and valuable tools to enhance bonding and attachment between parent and child.
